I had many issues with previous app to control rinnai. This one works as expected with no issues so far.

Shows connected to the tankless heater, but can't start the recirculation

Terrible - cannot get setup to work. The front control panel has Bluetooth button. I was able to pair it to my phone but the app refuses to see or acknowledge that the water heater exists. Help please... 😞

I wish I could give it zero. Works fine for a day or two, then completely forgets everything and won't reconnect. I had the unit on vacation mode after a long weekend, the app forgot everything, now I can't reconnect or turn the recirc pump back on its normal schedule. Horrible!! Good water heater, but app is as bad as I've seen.

Rinnai Control-R used to work fine on my old Pixel phones but won't even load on my new Samsung Galaxy S25. I switched to this app, but it fails to trigger my water heater 75% of the time w/o unplugging/rep lugging the unit.
