Really not bad. Yes, it does have connection issues. But they seem to end up working in the end, just keep scanning new items until it catches up. Still beats scanning all your items at the checkout. I usually spend only 30 seconds checking out unless I have something that needs id.

Seems like a ton of user error in these comments. My wife and I have never had problems other than the occasional scan taking a little longer, but we just scan the item and keep walking. As for everyone complaining about the handheld scanners, we're in the middle of a global pandemic, did you really want to handle the same thing as hundreds of other people in a single day?

No longer works after downloading again to new phone.. Used weekly for over a year at this store and now will not recognize my location or allow me to see what stores allow use. It is wonderful except they do everything possible to prevent you using it

This app is terrible. I started using the handheld scanners my Kroger had to do the scan, bag, and go and it went so smoothly. It was great! Sadly, my store is no longer using the scanners so I had to switch over to the app. The app has so much trouble getting me signed in and then once it finally lets me start scanning it takes forever between scans. I have to use the store's wifi to use the app, but it constantly has network issues so I rescan items a lot. I have given up on this app.
