This app seems helpful, and it may be even better to use the application reference instead of surname and passport number to track your application because if one has made more than one VISA application the app doesn't different which one it's tracking.

The google maps says you are closed today 3 November, but you are not. Regarding the app, if you have an email that you check regularly, the tlscontact will send an email saying that your passport is ready for collection, and that serves the purpose of the app, according to the two times I applied, I wander if the app would be of added value in other cases

I haven't encountered any problems that the 1 star reviewers mentioned. At the beginning, I was also confused. Since I'm applying in Portugal to go to the UK, "the country of destination" should be UK, not Portugal. In the beginning, I thought that is the destination for me to apply or receiving my passport. I agree this is not the most useful app. However, we all had experiences with embassies, consulates, visa centers, this app is actually very good in the whole scheme. Hope it helps.

Annoying up, annoying company. Apply for priority service (3-5 working days) this is 7th working days, still my application is on decision making center. I give up.
