I have to give it a 5 star as it does exactly what it said. It is to connect via Bluetooth to set the current and to connect the charger to Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is not for the benefit of the user to check the state of charging or stats. The Wi-Fi is for GM's purpose only; they may use it to push some update when they feel like it. Yes you the user cannot check if there is an update for the firmware. And it is for GM to listen and collect stats of your use and most probably sell it to home insurers.

Worthless App. It shows under my Cadillac app. Crazy thing is my Escalade is gas powered. I also have a 2025 Hummer, but doesn't show under it. The moment I downloaded this Ultium Power UP app, it's telling me it won't connect to Bluetooth anymore. I have the hardwired Power Up plus charger, which is now my second one. The first one was a dud and turned red all the time. Now I can't get in and change any settings on this charger. Don't understand why this app is causing a mess with my charger.

Have ultium iii which comes with the Chevy Blazer 2024. This app does not recognize the charger. Tried several times and Bluetooth could not find the unit. Useless app!!!!

Zero charge detail/nformation provided by this app. No charge status, no amp info, no power usage, no history. Works for setting up the unit - amps and brightness. Very minimal. PRETTY SAD GM. Needs a serious upgrade.

I didn't have particularly high expectations for this app. I simply needed a method to connect to my existing Power Up+ level 2 charger to configure the breaker setting. The app paired with the charger just fine via Bluetooth. Once paired, the app provides the option to configure wi-fi. I thought this would be convenient, but the field for entering the wi-fi password has a character limit (?!?) less than the length of my wi-fi password. One has to wonder who designed this app this way?
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
