★★★★★ Robot is great, and the app works well too. The app could use a manual; I had to contact support a couple of times for explanations (great timely support, btw). The no-go zones are created by using the blue button labelled "Area" at the bottom right of the map area. Once created, sized, edited, and placed, the no-go zone is saved with the map. While there is currently no room editing function, Cleaning Zones makes up for this. To create a Cleaning Zone, click the Zone button, then the "Create area" button that appears. Size, edit, and place the Zone on the map. You then must click the Start button, else the Cleaning Zone will not be saved. The robot will clean all the cleaning zones on the map. Scheduling currently only supports full cleaning, not the various partial cleaning modes (Pin n Go, Zone, and Room). The V980 Plus saves all maps and all cleaning jobs including the track it followed and the No-Go and Cleaning Zones that were active on that map. So having set up a map to clean high traffic areas, you can return to that map time and again. In the same way, you could create a "carpet map" that would have cleaning zones located on all the carpets on the floor, and use it time and again without having to redraw all its zones. To restore maps you need to access the Cleaning History (via the "More" button) The maps are currently stored by date and time, with no user comments attached. It would be useful to be able to attach tags or comments to individual maps ("kitchen rug", or "kitchen floor") and then to sort the maps by tags to find the task to accomplish. Currently, that has to be done outside the app. Once a floor has been mapped it can be cleaned again. To clean another floor, carry the robot to it, restore a map from that floor and press start. Once done, return the robot to the floor that houses the researching base, restore the map for that floor, and send the robot home.

★★☆☆☆ Robot is great, THE APP IS HORRID. Doesn't do what they claim. Once you map the house, your suck with its "rooms". I have 2 bedrooms, a hallway, bathroom, Toilet and laundry all marked as ONE room. There is no changing it! To make it worse the robot doesn't self empty upon being full. The only option is empty it manually during a clean. You can only pick that it empties once finished. Most times it fails to suck out and empty properly because it's so full. May 2022 since last update! Do better!

★★☆☆☆ Always forgets the map and refuses to reinstall previous versions. Cleans well, but wouldn't get again that's for sure

★★☆☆☆ You need to update your app. Since the latest Android update (One UI 6.0), the app crashes and I have no control of the vacuum.
