Comments on ValleyBike for Android

I give them 4/5. Customer service is amazing. The bikes work most of the time but after speaking with someone they are upgrading soon. These bikes help get me to and from work every day. One star taken because sometimes it's hard to find a bike in Southampton. I do wish these went into Greenfield. I do have to go back to the main office eventually and I would rather bike than take the bus.

★★★★☆ Sam Scoppettone · Dec 27, 2024

Was a little confusing the first time unlocking a bike. I didn't know it would lock if I didn't undock the bike within a few seconds, and then it wanted me to complete a trip with a photo even though I hadn't even undocked the bike yet. I swiped away from taking the photo and then couldn't find it again but eventually figured it out with only moderate cursing.

Android getting a Format exception: unexpected end of input (character 1) ^. Version 1.0.486+6410. First time trying to use a bike, now I'm stuck, going to miss a big chunk of my last night in town with my kid. MAJOR disappointment.

Asking for a phone number, an email address and a GOVERNMENT ID just to look and see if I even WANT to use this app? Get knotted. What an intrusive piece of garbage.

Every time I end a trip by locking the bike in the appropriate area. It REPEATEDLY tells me the bike is outside the appropriate area I LOCK AND UNLOCK THE BIKE SEVERAL TIMES AND IT TELLS ME THE SAME THING leaving my time running!!!
