Great so far. Except for 2 things. The system doesn't recognize my cat as a cat. First I got 7 messages in one night saying there's a person at the door when it was just my cat. Secondly I still get open door messages when I have turned on ignore sensor for that door, and it opened, so Mom can look out it.

Love the security system! Is there any way when the doorbell is rung it can identify the person IF It is a household member?

This app is HORRIBLE you can't get live feeds, and you can't respond to any action. You don't get alerts even if someone rings the doorbell. I spent hours with numerous technicians. Then I was told I need to upgrade all 4 camera and doorbell cameras. Now I'm in debt over $1400. The app worked for a little bit then the vivant app changed to a new update, and I haven't been able to view or use my app unless I rewind my cameras to view the days activities. Still don't work but stuck IN CONTRACT 2030

Once again the brilliant people at Vivint updated the app, and now one of the most basic functions don't work. Get it together. Wasn't a terrible app until now. It doesn't even work on my phone anymore. It has been a month since they tried to resolve it, and now they're avoiding my call. I think I'm going to switch service even though I've been with them for over 18 years. Now the chat with us won't respond. Get another security system.
