Volt took the guesswork out of going to the gym with tuned workouts for what I want to train for. It is giving me a good mix of cardio, calisthenics, and normal weight training. I'm down almost 100lbs partially thanks to Volt and I feel great! The one criticism I have is after a while of using the same training program the workouts that are given to me start to feel repetitive, and I find myself replacing the app-generated workouts with something different just to mix it up. Over all, it's great!

Incredible app for a beginner. I purchased the year-long membership after trying the trial. Love the workouts, love that you can customize your workout. I went from aimlessly doing random exercises on my own to doing a concrete workout plan every day. Each day is a different set of workouts. Each week is a different focus. I currently have a 7-day streak, but I'm looking forward to using this for the next year + Get the free trial. You won't regret it!

Volt is unstable and difficult. It is hard to set up a program that matches your comfort with gym equipment, and the number of days per week you go. It often decides your day is finished, and you have to stop the app and restart it to enter the parts of your exercises that it didn't capture. It has lost data on certain exercises several times while trying to use it.

All of a sudden app doubled all weights for me, not only for future workouts but also for all the past workout logs. Also, the check for stress, soreness, mood etc. does nothing to the workout. Also, the weights are often very unrealistic. If I do a set with RPE 9 it just says to add more weight, so I'm bound to go the failure, every workout, which doesn't make any sense. Also, when I change routine from 4 times a week to 3 times a week, it skipped totally one training block for me. And much more...
