I really like this app. They proactively make adjustments depending on market forecasts and any changes are always communicated and explained. Obviously it all depends on the level of risk you are confident in investing.

Only download and initially invested £50 as it was a promotion, where they would give me £50 after 12 months. However, since then, a year and half later, I have been drip feeding by direct debit monthly, small amounts. It's a great way to see the ups and downs of investing without breaking the bank. I've invested in an ethical fund and am about 14% up. (I have also been down) Great for people wanting to dip their toe into investing, but please only use money you are prepared to lose.

I like the app, it's pretty easy to use. As an investment vehicle however it is useless. Negative returns from pretty early on, and I haven't seen any benefit in the recent upturn in the market-basically they seem useless at picking stocks, and I am paying them for the service. I put money into free trade also and chose my own picks. I've seen wealthify make negative 5% return, free trade nearly 10% positive return. I am waiting to hit break even at wealthify and will be removing my cash.

The app is simple to use, but my returns have constantly and increasingly stayed negative. They have changed the spread of investments three times in twelve months without an improvement in performance. Therefore, I personally wouldn't recommend Wealthify.

I've had this app for just over 3 years. I currently have 0.49p return (using the confident setting so not the least risky option!). I could have earned more interest with it tucked away in a savings account. The app itself is easy enough to use hence the 2-star rating. I just don't see the point in keeping my money in this when returns are ridiculously low and could be invested elsewhere.
