I love the new app for Well span. They added a lot of good features. You can schedule in the app without having to call. You can contact Drs office through the app and not have to call in. You can read your test results and pictures if there are any. The Dr can leave messages for you and about your test results. It is very easy to use. They amputated my leg and I have dealt with many Welshman Drs and I have no complaints. I have a hospital 10 minutes from my house yet if I need to see a specialist or have a serious issue, like I am going through now, I'll drive the hour to Welshman. Much better Equipment and Drs at Welshman than my little rural hospital who I only go to if it's a minor issue. What's nice is you don't have to drive all over to go to a Welshman Dr. their all fairly centrally located and easy to find.

Vital health information withheld concerns patients wellbeing Shady with communication and conditions with held medications administered without our knowledge and finding out afterward I can't trust anyone else anymore that's why I'm suffering now

Dr in ER said my mom's lab work was better than last visit, believe she was improving, and discharged her. So I looked at all her lab work done, (she's still quite ill) and she has a kidney failure test result, and a Total abnormal Bilirubin test result. I had to do my own research about what all her abnormal lab scores meant. What, just tell old patients what they want to hear, because it's better they go home and die.

Horrible Merry go round AI answering system. You keep getting transferred to yet another hold with 19 people ahead of you. I held and Instead of billing I'm back to customer service! Nothing got accomplished or paid. These horrible AI phone answering systems use us as guinea pigs to" learn" the ins. And outs of the system. Well span is a massive healthcare institution, so why can't they hire humans to sort issues? They don't want to spend the money!

The app is helpful in that I don't have to call well spans whack AI IVR to make appointments and get test results. However, they send an insane number of appointment reminder notifications, texts, and emails that start 3-4 days prior to the appointment. As someone who appreciates one or two reminders it's disappointing that I have to turn off app notifications to avoid relentless communication from Well span.
