Summary
Microsoft's Xbox app keeps you connected to your gaming community across devices. It combines social chat, in-app purchases, Game Pass access, and clip sharing in one hub, so you stay in the game wherever you play. It also highlights Gaming Copilot (Beta) for personalized recommendations and insights.
Pros & Cons
- Deep Xbox ecosystem integration (Game Pass, Perks) for seamless gaming experiences.
- Cross-device social features: voice and text chat with friends on console or PC.
- In-app game purchases and add-ons streamline buying.
- Easy sharing of clips and screenshots to social networks.
- Compared with some competitors that emphasize remote control, cloud streaming, and broader console integration, this app focuses on the social/gaming hub rather than full console features.

Parties constantly disconnect and reconnect causing glitches where some people can't be heard and others can. It wouldn't let me upload a new profile picture even after reinstalling. There's often glitches where I can't view my friends list. What's absurd is all but one of these glitches have been happening for over 2 years. It's like you guys just don't care. 2 stars is generous. Every time I use this app. I get party glitches and random disconnects. On my data or Wi-Fi nothing changes.

I just had to spend the better part of 20 minutes trying to redeem my points, jumping between about 6 different pages because the app "says" you can redeem but actually can't through the app. Take the page off the app if it doesn't do anything

UNABLE TO SIGN IN TO MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. Credentials are correct, pc and console versions work fine, so it's a mobile app issue. FIX NOW!!!!!

The Rewards page is regularly not recognizing my Game Pass Ultimate subscription, it will either not register the Ultimate subscription or it doesn't register any subscription to Game Pass. This has happened many times in the past, I complete a Rewards Quest and the app prompts me that I would receive more points with a higher level of Game Pass subscription. The apps home page registers my Game Pass Ultimate subscription, but the Rewards page registers a lower level of subscription.
