Seems to connect to the smoker better. Some recommendations: Add timers (Could not find timer), add option for prolonged alarms for notifications, option to open app in grill tab

The old app was so incredibly terrible and buggy that this is a huge upgrade. It's actually usable without constantly force closing! I agree with other reviewers. The app should go straight to the grill interface instead of the home page that has recipes. Especially recipes that aren't even for my smoker!

Quick connect, updated app, and it did all the Wi-Fi footwork for me. Ready to go with finished update. Used my 24" MZG last 2 days since new update. Yesterday was flawless....today I got a couple wild temp rises over 300° from my cool-smoke temp of 185° after 30 minutes or so. Opened the door to let drop, 2nd time worked. *Maybe was the different pellets from top layer that twerked it up. The smoker is old purchased used (works well) App looks better and has some extra features. AA++

Connectivity and responsiveness have been improved over the previous app. I would prefer if Camp Chef focused on just perfecting the grill control UI and leave out the recipe and store functionality, at least make grill control the first thing that pops up when you open the app.

Camp Chef, this new app is worse than the buggy old one that has 1-star rating. It now requires an account, and it does not work with de-goooglified phones. Just give up, quit vibe coding and ask someone to help.

No dark mode. Probe settings won't work. Graph always says "no active cook session". Lots of regressions in this version of the app.

Wi-Fi won't connect with new app. I am able to connect Wi-Fi using the old app. I can at least connect Bluetooth. Still disappointed with the money it costs. Maybe an update will help. If one comes out before I buy something else.
