For me, the app has always been reliable. My only complaint is not with the app but with the Honeywell thermostat. The lowest temperature it will show is 40 degrees F. I use this thermostat in a garage at my camp which is 50 miles from my home. I leave the heat off until it gets to 35 degrees F. Since the Honeywell thermostat won't show anything below 40, I had to put a wireless thermometer in my garage that will display temperatures below 40. Come on Honeywell!

Switched back to this app after using the Resideo app for 2 years because resideo quit working. This app just works (whereas Resideo constantly says my thermostat is "offline"). Only giving 4 stars because it doesn't let me control the fan on my Honeywell rth6580wf, but it does let me adjust the temp, and that is better than nothing!

Schedule and holds have always been an issue with this thing. Support didn't help. Details. Holds sometimes work. Schedule changes never do. Makes the wireless functionality of my thermostat a complete waste of time and money.

The TCC app worked really well for a number of years. I transferred the account to a new cell phone, and it still worked great. A month ago the TCC app stopped working with a message saying, "web service not available, try again later." I tried multiple times. Finally, I figured I could just delete the app and reinstall it. Downloading it from their website I received the message back that the app was not compatible with my cell phone. What the hell? Honeywell, this is a complete failure.

Only works in landscape mode on my fold 7. Also, not all features are available on inside screen, I have to fold the phone and use the outside screen if I want to modify the on/off schedule

This is the least intuitive and most complicated app I've ever seen when using the RedLink Gateway device. Does this app support an automated way to adjust the temperature when leaving or arriving the location (such as auto Home/Away or Geo-fence). It’s installed with a RedLink gateway.
