Edit: app has been working probably most of the time. Any trouble is quickly resolved by closing the app and starting it again. Much improved from my last 1-star review. 1 star: I've had this app for probably over a year and it sucks. It rarely connects to the ac on the first try. I have to close the app and open it again, sometimes more than once for it to control the ac. I didn't realize how awful this app really was until I got a smart ac from LG and their app works perfectly.

I finally figure out how to get this app running. Make sure to save your login info on Color note. This is important, you must turn on your location. The app didn't ask that on my other phone. Follow the instruction on the screen, copy and paste your Wi-Fi password, connect to your GE_module and grant Wi-Fi access to your ac application. You're set! Good job. My setting (Set to 26C, Cool/Fan only, select Cool). Fan speed? High. Turn on energy saver mode when sleeping to save $ and staying cool.

I still love the app, but not a recent update to it. Before the app would display the outdoor, indoor, and target temperatures, but after a recent update, the outdoor temperature has been removed. This information was very useful, and now it's gone.

My air conditioner got disconnected from the internet, and I couldn't add it back on using this app on my Android phone. I was able to do it with my iPad, but I wanted it to appear on my phone.

TOTAL JUNK - AVOID GE! Oct 22 - I switched internet providers and cannot get this connected - also made the mistake of getting another unit that has never been able to connect. The A/C has a 10* temp variance, it & the app are horrible. It can turn on or off at any time - except when I've programmed - at random temperatures and runs and runs and costs me money. The A/C would be much better if it did not have Wi-Fi connectivity, with this app it's like punishment.

Can't change the operation settings of the ac on the app anymore. I used to be able to change from fan to ac to dehumidify and control the fan speed. Now I can't control any of that from the app, I can only turn the unit on from the app.

Horrible app. Doesn't connect to my appliance anymore. It keeps saying that I don't have a network when I clearly do.
