Duress is the worlds first protection service that notifies Police - In an emergency, Duress notifies the Police, streams live video and tracks your location all in seconds, without the need to call 000.
In an emergency, such as an assault, an attack, home invasion or domestic violence, there is not enough time to call 000. Duress lets you notify the Police and stream video in seconds, meaning you don’t need to call 000 and explain who you are, where you are, or what is happening. Duress does all of this for you.
How does Duress work?
- Duress has a 24/7 Operations Centre in Australia, which activates during an emergency.
- As soon as you declare an emergency, the Operations Centre can see who you are, what is happening, and where you are.
- The Operations Centre connects directly to Police in seconds, notifying Police of where you are and what is happening. The Operations Centre can also send the live video and location data through to the Police if needed.
How do I declare an emergency?
- With Duress, declaring an emergency is simple, and very quick. Either swipe the bottom of your phone, hold your phone and release, or remove your earphones. If you accidentally request police, simply enter your PIN to cancel.
Duress membership is a year-to-year subscription that begins at sign up. You can cancel at any time, and there are no long-term contracts on cancellation fees.
Payment will be charged to your GooglePlay account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto renewal can be turned off by going to your subscription settings.

Excellent company to deal with. I use the app for my staff and my wife also uses it. It is great knowing that in an emergency they can activate the alarm and their phone video, sound and location will be transmitted to the call center, so they can alert the police. I notice some people say it's expensive, but when you consider the service I think it is extremely good value.

I can't sign up. In the description it says nothing about having to belong to a company, and you need an invite from your company. It's not just for everyone, which is a real shame, as I was looking forward to having an extra safety feature such as this app.

In the start it says in case u can't dial 000, but why wouldn't I be able to dial 000, I can dial that even without a sim card in my phone in the middle of nowhere. This probably requires 4g to be running, so I have better chances if I dial 000. Requires u to pay? 000 is ur the biggest competitor and they are free. This doesn't notify police, it notifies ur center, which in turn dials 000. I think I'll stick to 000.

This app doesn't pass the test. It has a location error even though I have given it permission. It is a problem with this model of phone as I have tried it on another phone of this model, and it gets the same error. Model: Motog5s
