According to surveys, published literature, and peer supporters’ preferences, the software could intelligently calculate red lines for each patient. As the users pass the threshold, Glutrace will alarm them and their peer supporters.

Moreover, precautions and instructions are continuously sent to both users and peer supporters. The alarming system could be synchronized with both GluBand and GluCam; for instance, if you smoke, your GluBand will vibrate until you turn it off!

Glutrace can remind you of the time for physical activities, medications, and even the time of your doctor appointment.

Peer support
Peer supporters will have access to both a peer supporters’ version of Glutrace and a web-based platform, which helps them to monitor their clients through Glutrace 24/7.

Moreover, physicians and psychiatrists involved in the project have a web-based platform to check the performance of both peer supporters and patients. They can send messages, arrange appointments, and connect through voice or video calls to other users. We will consider the ability to perform video conferences and webinars in a scheduled manner. Gamification in Glutrace will again show itself in peer support feature.

Logging parameters
The daily activities should be tracked continuously. It can be entered manually by users or we can collect the data from other health platforms like Google fit, Apple health, or Samsung fit. Moreover, our application can use the cell phone’s GPS to estimate the amount of daily activities automatically; the only thing we need for this is the users’ permission.

Dietary advices
Glutrace provides hundreds of recipes suitable for patients with diabetes.

Our application can also introduce restaurants appropriate for diabetic patients according to the patient’s location, preferences, and diabetes control status. Also, by creating a restaurant ranking system and their food quality for diabetic patients, our application helps diabetic patients to choose the best restaurant and the best food.

Synchronization
The application can synchronize to other health platforms like Google fit app. Therefore, in case any data is imported to other health applications, Glutrace can collect it too. This helps to save time and energy. Besides, it will be convenient for users as it decreases human mistakes by the user.

Food calorimeter
The most important part of the treatment and control of diabetes is the diet. Although its importance is emphasized by medical experts, a practical solution to control the exact amount of consumed food has not been determined ever since.

Reporting health parameters
Every collected data can be seen in the application in different forms. Glutrace can draw a variety of charts of the user’s health parameters for both users and peer supporters, so that they can track them more easily.
