Overall working much better after issues experienced during the past year. Firmware update went okay. Ride tracking works again, even if the notification is set to hide on the lock screen, and the app hasn't broken with the Android 12 update - yay! Slight issue that the app needs to be opened manually when the phone and airbag have been apart for a while (e.g. left at home for a day) to make sure they connect, however the main issues seem to have been fixed.

Battery tracking doesn't update. It's always stuck on 80% even when it's beeping to indicate low battery. Have followed the instructions on the website, but it just went from being stuck at 60% to being stuck at 80% haha! Everything else seems to be working in the app tho :) Update! Had a firmware update. It's working now :)

The app is not great. Firmware update for the hovding gets usually stuck. Trips not recorded. Difficulty to register new replacement device...

I only want three things from this app. 1. Non persistent notification telling me when the hövding is activated / deactivated. 2. Non persistent notification reminding me it's time to charge when the battery is getting low. 3. Ability to update the firmware on the Hövding. Right now only point 3. Is available in the app. The app seems mostly focused on collecting my current location and sharing it with Hövding, and probably monetizing the data. Luckily it's possible to disable.

I think the app lies about the battery level. It sometimes shows 100%, but I get the audible low battery notification when I put it on. It's dangerous as I can't trust the battery to last my ride and the helmet to protect me. It's also really difficult to find a charger that works with the helmet. There isn't one in the box. It seems to reject most Smartphone chargers. Good idea, poor execution.

Never connects to the Hövding at first try. I have to force the app to stop before it can connect. It doesn't register the rides properly either. 1 every 3 rides is not registered. It drains battery as well. In short, it sucks. Edit: What kind of reply is that? Of course, I have my phone with me all the time. The problem is that the app doesn't connect to the Hövding properly. I allowed the app to use my GPS and location as well, but this doesn't change the fact that it doesn't work properly.
