★★★★★ I've been waiting for many months to be able to update the firmware on The Fives. Kitsch support had not been able to update the firmware on my Fives in the past, so I was not optimistic when I saw this App. I was pleasantly surprised that combined with the new USB firmware files, The Fives updated. I was not expecting to be able to use the full functionality of the Connect App either, so that was a huge bonus!

★★★★★ In general, it is easy to use and communicative, but less tech-savvy users might have difficulties on the first step. A list of confirmed compatible USB drives (or confirmed USB drives that have had issues) might also help users troubleshoot. I used a fairly modern drive (Kingston with USB A and C on the other end) and it was flawless, so better communication on drive compatibility could be appreciated (Also an animation of how the update looks on the speakers could be very helpful!)

★★☆☆☆ Not sure what the problem is here says update available and then in update app says all updates are done, but the connect app keeps popping up update available FIX PLEASE!

★★☆☆☆ Great App. Worked 1st time. Until I switched the fives back on. Only keeps the settings if you connect your phone via Bluetooth. Otherwise, it's the default setting. Which is awful. I think the Kitsch sound engineers are going deaf. The fives are great at boom boom boom. There's no finesse to these speakers. These speakers need constant attention. Kitsch consistently releases Firmware updates which are terrible I won't be keeping them. Kitsch makes great speakers. Not great active speakers.
