Decent app. One of the few annoying things is I have changed the order my accounts are viewed on the home screen, but when trying to make transfers or payments, it changes the account order to alphabetical, rather than keeping the order I have set for the home screen. Also, when transferring, the keyboard doesn't auto open to input the amount, you have to manually click the text box, unlike other banking apps I have used.

Macquarie Bank has a tidy app that is very easy to set up and to use. Very difficult to set up the mobile app wrong.

This is a terrible app if you trade cryptocurrency. They lock your account when you try and transfer your own funds. Fair enough the first time or if it's a new Crypto wallet. This has happened repeatedly to the same address same when I transfer. I have become very untrusting of Macquarie as they have locked me out of my own accounts and cards on more than one time. You sit for 30 minutes on hold then getting treated like a 5-year-old while your cards are frozen. Don't recommend 😭

50/50 chance you'll even be able to log in. This app is extremely unreliable. So much so that you really are gambling being able to pay for things if you rely on it as your primary banking provider. "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later". Is the most frequent error. It's so bad that I've gone back to a big 4 bank. The additional interest rate incentives for savings accounts with Macquarie are great, but not having access to your money is a dealbreaker.

Their chat history function doesn't work, so you could be waiting for a response to a question made in chat and get a notification that a new message was sent then you can't view it because it doesn't appear anywhere. We have had chat rooms for over 20 years I'm not sure why the 5th biggest bank in Australia can't figure this out.
