This version is a total rebuild and fixes the crashing issues described in the reviews. This NauticEd Sailing Education App is fully interactive with your online account. Take all of your NauticEd sailing education courses with you anywhere on your mobile device - online or offline. You can also take the course tests. When you complete a test, the App sends the results up to your online resume automatically.
If you are new to NauticEd, you will get two free courses when you sign up.
If you are looking to gain your International Sailing License, this is the best place to start since you can take the theory courses via this App, or online.
In this App, you can add practical on-the-water experience to your free electronic sailing logbook right from the dock. As you build your sailing resume, your experience and course work show up under the resume tab. Your Sailing Certificate can be viewed and emailed to a yacht charter company anytime, anywhere.
There are so many other freebies. e.g. A free boat maintenance check list that you can take to the boat. Access to over 200 how to sailing articles, a free QR code reader that allows you to bring our hybrid paper eBooks alive and the ability to email your own promotion code to a friend so they get a discount off their own courses.

The NauticEd courses are great, and they can be done in a web browser or this app. Your progress is synched across the web and app, so it's easy to move back and forth. The app provides access to other NauticEd services such as your sailing log, resume, certification, sailing articles, etc. Helpful hint: For viewing course pages that have tables, it helps to turn the phone sideways and view in landscape mode to avoid cutting off some of the text.

A few of the interactive elements work better on desktop, but the app allows me to study away from my desk. Feature request: night mode would be awesome for low-light studying. White text on black background inversion.

Not sure if helpful: Android user. Galaxy 21 Ultra Note. Using 5G. Horrible app. Each time I go to the bottom of the page it bumps me out & closes the app. I've deleted & reloaded the app as suggested, but it never helps. Don't waste your time. Take your classes through their website. This could have been a great addition to my lineup of sailing tools. P. S : Some people mentioned words are missing from sentences. Turn phone sideways. In landscape mode they all appear.

It's aggravating, as an Android user, to subsidize the full product available to iPhone users. The lack of tracking and automation limits the value of this version.
