Great program. But for people who've never really exercised before it escalates too quickly. I have done one week each month with max 2 runs a week, sometimes 1, and also done strength training. When I do 1 run in a week I try to do sprint interval session or HIIT that week too. After 6 months I'm on week 6.

It's a good app to get you to start running. Do all the sessions and if the longer runs are too much repeat the previous week until you feel comfortable doing longer run.

My first run, I felt sure that I had been running for longer than it told me. I locked the phone and put it in my pocket, and when I took it out 3 mins later it said only 1 min had passed. This happens consistently unless I deliberately keep the app open and screen on. I tried turning off the battery saver settings but no change. I'll have to find a different app.

I've given it 2 stars as the timer isn't tracking properly and what I think is a 5-minute walk is actually a 10-minute walk. This is despite me keeping the app open and running

Waste of time. I just couldn't figure out how to use it, apps are aimed at younger people not over 50s. It's like we're written off but unless we get help it's our children who will be funding our nhs care in the future. Make apps simple for all.
