Biometrics (create SBH profile) is not available in France. It seems they don't make the app compliant with French laws. Uninstall...

Tried and tried to scan passport in to it doesn't work. Cheap app for such a good alliance.

Painful user experience. After approx 50 attempts (no joke) I managed to create a biometric profile. The biometric set-up process is truly appalling and designed to deter users from using the system. Once a SBH profile is created, biometric login is woefully slow, much too slow to be practible at the airport. In any case, it's not possible to link a BP in the LH app to the SBH profile, clicking on the link "Connect boarding pass" opens a general information page on the Star Alliance website!
