07/2026 Update: They must have fixed the app because it works great. Xfinity also gave me a free new router last year just cause. Rating was 1 star, now it's 4. This app has more changes than a babys diapers. Every week, the layout is different as if they can't make up their mind what they want. I just want it to work!! I can't unlock my sons' internet because I can't pull up anything except "customer support," and that doesn't do anything when clicked on. Edit: it still sucks as of 09/03/23

Useful especially because trying to get a live agent on a Comcast call is a time-consuming near impossible task. The app unfortunately doesn't help to solve the issues often enough. It's still better than the awful chat agent experience. Most problems end in the same way----an interminable wait time to "speak to a representative" or going to Comcast office location, which is another set of ridiculous problems. At least the app doesn't lie to your face the way a Comcast representative does.

Comcast has successfully stolen my work email, and will not let me access it without turning on two-step verification, which I cannot set up because it requires an email address that they have locked me out of. Their customer service is non-existent, as they delisted their phone number and the chatbot will lie about all of their services. My lawyer has advised me to sue for data theft, fraud, and violation of their terms of service.

Lady from Xfinity Comcast got all my information changed password now the app will not work nor can I get the app to change the password to function. Could not use.

I was required to update my app version, the previous one refused to work. Now I'm told the new version isn't compatible with my device. And the new modem coming in needs this app to set up. I'd give this -stars if I could
