Description
BVG Muva stands for accessible mobility in Berlin. It is our service for passengers with restricted mobility who are dependent on accessible public transport. The service is primarily aimed at people with disabilities as specified in § 228 SGB IX. In addition, elderly people and people with strollers or small children, pregnant women, people with injuries and people with luggage can also use the BVG Muva.
Passengers can decide at their own discretion whether accessibility is restricted at their desired S- or U-Bahn station or bus stop. In such cases, the BVG Muva comes to the rescue. We will pick you up at your desired S-Bahn or U-Bahn station or bus stop and take you to a stop of your choice within a 5-kilometer radius. The bus stop is chosen in the direction of the traffic flow for an easier connection.
The BVG Muva is available weekdays from 4:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and around the clock from Friday to Saturday as well as on weekends and public holidays. You can use it throughout Berlin within fare zones A and B - as required and without a timetable.
This is how it works:
1. Download the app and register
Download the BVG Muva app, open the app and register with a few clicks or log in with your existing BVG account. That's it! Now you can use our service and book your ride.
2. Book a ride
Open the app and set your starting point and destination. If you activate the GPS function, your current location will automatically be suggested as the starting point. Once you have selected the route, you can add mobility aids, luggage and passengers.
3. Pick up
Once you've booked your ride, we'll be on our way to you. The app will show you exactly when you can expect us to pick you up.

Very good initiative from the Senat, convenient for those who are struggling to get proper connection to nearby train stations 🚉. However, if the service could be more expanded, it would make a big difference. The app definitely needs some bugs fixed. For example, when I book a ride for adults and children, the driver sees only the adult happens 4 times. Now recently have experienced wenn I book a ride. I don't see where the driver is located. I jump back to the start page. Keep going 💪

Confusing to use. You type in an adress, it seems to work, and then it disappears, and you have to re-type it. Also brags about being good if you have too much luggage, but then you can onky add two pieces of luggage for 2 passengers, I can do double that with public transport, no problem. No, thank you.

A transport app for....a tiny part of the eastern part of Berlin? In 2023? What the actual f is this? An early April fools' prank? Way to spend that precious fare income on useless apps :-/
