Getting started To use the app, you’ll need to be registered for Cumberland Internet Banking and have a mobile number registered with us. 1. Download the app and select ‘Register’ from the main menu. 2. Read and confirm acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. 3. Enter your Internet Banking details – Customer Number and Access Code. 4. Verify your device using the security code we send you. 5. Create your secure 5-digit passcode to enter each time you log on. 6. Optionally enable Face ID or Touch ID for quicker login.

Quite good, just can't see transactions in real time like other banking apps, which can sometimes make it a bit tricky to keep track. Love the cumberland tho as their head office is in Carlisle, so I know I'm talking to a local when I ring.

Not impressed, I have used this App for years now the new one isn't compatible with my phone. I am not buying another phone so my only option is to move my account to another bank.

12/7/24 update. The app now works a lot better but 1 big complaint about the most recent update... the balance is shown in large writing, but the available balance is in tiny font and for anyone taking a quick look, may not see that they don't have funds they think they have. The available balance should be in larger letters and balance in smaller

Sad app now Have used the app on my Samsung s8 for years now. And it was fine. Today sat down to pay a bill, and I'm informed that I must upgrade the app. Fine. So at the app store I'm told the app is no longer compatible with my phone. YES the phone has the latest updates. And the Cumberland appear to have not pre informed that this would happen. Seems I will be forced to buy a new phone even though this one is fine!

Worst banking app, every time I log in it doesn't work, so I have to go to phone settings-apps - Cumberland app then force stop then go back in to log in. I was supposed to receive a call from the tech team but never did... minus 1 star.
