Forest is great for focus, but it really needs two features: group study sessions (like YPT) and a proper dark mode. With these additions, it would easily become the best productivity app out there. Hope the devs consider it! 🌱

I’ve been using the Forest app for the last 2 years, and it has genuinely become a part of my study routine. It works for me most of the time. As someone with adhd it does motivate me to stay on task during the timer! I love the trees I get, I'd love to customize my forest more though. Mainly just placing the plants where I want would be fun. I have the plus verison (not the new one though) it's a shame that apps like these need to get things like paywalls, because it doesn't really make the app any better, it just makes it less accessible, and just makes it less about getting rid of distraction

The last several days I've been mostly unable to open my forest to see it. It just endlessly spins the loading icon and never opens. I plant in certain patterns and color schemes and need to be able to check which trees I need to plant next, so this is extremely detrimental to my usage of this app.

Love the concept of this app, especially how it blocks access to other apps, but it is extremely glitchy and often crashes in the middle of my focus sessions, and when that happens it doesn't register any of the focus time I was doing. Also, I wish there was a way to plant real trees without getting premium, like if we could purchase a real tree with our coins or time crystals. I will keep using the app despite the bugs because it really is great for helping me focus.
