Description

GrillEye® app is especially designed to work with your GrillEye® Smart Bluetooth® Grilling & Smoking Thermometer. It allows you to monitor your grill or smoker, while you relax with your friends and family. As soon as food temperature reaches the desired levels, GrillEye® sends a notification to your iOS device.

Using the GrillEye® app comes natural and, indicatively, enables you to:
- monitor up to 6 different temperatures, from a distance of up to 100m.
- easily select from a list of temperature presets for grilling or smoking (set according to the United States Department of Agriculture guidelines for safe cooking).
- create your own preset temperatures in order to tailor your grilling or smoking to your exact preferences
- set timers with notes and many more.

*WHY DOES THE GRILLEYE® APP NEED MY LOCATION?
Google™ changed its permission requirements beginning with Android OS 6.0.
As a result the locations permission is necessary to sync your Grilleye PRO series device with your Android device.

★★★★★ The thermometer is excellent and at a great price. Accurate, easy to use, Bluetooth works great. I can see from the comments that support is good also. Just a note to the company, the product is technically great, but for it to be successful, it needs some polish on materials and UX design. The thermometer has nice design, but the packaging could do with a better inlay then a roughly cut photocopy of a quick start leaflet and the white plastic in the box is thin and cheap. Most important is the need for a better designed app, technically its adequate, but it seems created by an IT manager, not a UX/UI designer and a graphic artist. I believe with a couple of changes to the app design the product will succeed even more! Best wishes to the team!

★★★★★ What a beautiful experience having a grill eye probe. I can actually monitor my BBQ grill while in my house away from it. It makes smoking meats very easy because I know exactly when to go add a piece of wood to the fire. This is a must-have for anybody who don't want to be wondering when to go check your grill. It is on your phone in big bold temperature numbers, and it's called Grill Eye App.... pretty amazing product!!! Love it, love it, love it..... highly recommend (✷‿✷)

★★★★★ Excellent app to monitor the meat and pit temperature. It would be nice if the scale of the temperature graph could be adjusted and all the active probes could be combined within one temperature graph.

★★☆☆☆ First use. My app doesn't update temperature unless I close the app and reopen it. The temp graph is empty. I can't see anything that I'm doing wrong. The temperature display on the box goes blank, so I can't read temp there either. If this continues, I'll likely he returning the product. Disappointing. Edit: I received a very quick response from Grill Eye with instructions to clear the issue. I'll update after testing again.

★★☆☆☆ Why do I have to change the temperature ranges one number at a time? Also, I want the ability to set a temperature without any boundaries. There doesn't always have to be an annoying alarm.

★★☆☆☆ App & device suck so far. Tried to pair with the device using my phone's Bluetooth pairing before installing the app. Pairing said it required the app, so I installed the app and the app can't find the probe. Instructions stated a "white" light will come on when powering on device at which point you can pair in the app. My device turns on with a "green" flashing light and the app can't find the device.
