I like this app and use it daily for issues related to Chronic Fatigue. It helps me to reduce my heart rate when it gets a little high as well as helps me feel calmer. I use it both with a Bluetooth chest heart rate strap (PowrLabs) and the camera on my Samsung S8 and both work pretty well, although when my fingers are cold has a hard time finding my heart rate. I'm okay with the cost of the app because I can't find another app like this, and it's not a monthly fee like many apps are doing

Very useful. Connects to my Coospo armband HRM. No unnecessary permissions. The tool to set the breath pacer (i.e. length of inhale, exhale, and holds) is flexible. Setting the breath pacer is counterintuitive, but it now gives numerical feedback. So you know what you've set. Pleasant sound for breath pacing. I use it daily.

I am exploring the potential of the coherent breathing technique for stress management. Tested a lot of apps and in my opinion, this is the best one so far on Play store. I am using the full version with a cheap external sensor. This configuration gives me more opportunities to experiment. The feedback screens are very well-designed and provide excellent visual information. Cons: 1) If the sensor is connected after the application was once started the app freezes. It has to be stopped and deleted from memory to work again. 2) An accidental touch of the screen could stop and save the current session, and you have to start a new one. I also think that the app will benefit from a more detailed help section and more information for users with little knowledge about coherent breathing. Arch I have

Struggles to connect to polar Bluetooth hrv monitor. All my other HR apps work fine on the same phone with the same sensor. I would like a refund.

I give this app two stars because it is a good idea. But, I really did not like the pay scheme. Everything works for a minute then shuts off. You then have to pay a lot...not for the entire app, but for each element of the app, i.e. sound, image, graph, etc. These aren't 'in-app' purchases. These are purchases to get the app to work. Beyond that, I turned on the monitor and held the camera light against my wall and somehow the app was picking up a heartbeat and giving me a resonance reading!
