Wow! This app helps! I'm glad I downloaded it! I suffer from bipolar 1 mdd. Who ever made this app(thank you soo much) it's a lifesaver! It also helps if you're in crisis mode, and it gives you re sources when you desperately need help! Thank you mood tools your better than any psychologist!

Mood Tools boasts a cognitive-behavioral approach, created specifically for major depression, resting on the assumption that people learn to adopt negative outlooks of themselves, the future, and the world, leading to negative thoughts called cognitive distortions. Mood Tools does a great job of asking you to catch your own distortions and challenge them by presenting alternate scenarios. It also does a detailed job of reintroducing positive reinforcements through behavioral activation activities

The app is no longer sending notifications, and it's blocked for me to enable them even in my settings app. I've had to tell another app to remind me to take this test every 2 weeks

Shame that this app is neglected. The description shows that the last update was in 2022, but there are issues with this app, like putting your mood for an activity causes the app to crash and some of the videos are no longer on YouTube. Uninstalling and finding a similar app. Will update this review if anyone is also searching for an up-to-date app. EDIT: The closest one I found is Don't Panic. There is a safety plan tool, diary/journal, depression management tips, etc.
