App works great without any issues. I don't understand the negative reviews from people. The convenience outweighs the costs! The prices are not even that bad for data plans. You can get a local sim when you get to your destination for cheaper data and keep the global data for emergency use only. I kept my SIM from Verizon and use the sapphire data for Wi-Fi calling. Verizon offers Wi-Fi calling which allows me to keep my USA number. It's awesome!

The app works fine. It has trackers built into it though. These 4 are some that I see: Tencent stats, Umeng analytics, a couple from Alibaba and also WeChat location. This app/isp is probably snooping through your traffic and mining your data for Chinese companies to make money off of you while still charging you for the Wi-Fi. This service is heavily advertised for military people, and has Chinese trackers on it...🤔🤨🧐 You should consider a VPN when using this and treat is as public Wi-Fi.

You are paying for a service they do not provide. I thought I'd get the puck with 8gb of data for 30 days and see how long it will last. I have 4 days left, and I have barley managed to use 100mb. There is no service anywhere. The puck will show it's connected to something on occasion, but there's no internet. I work between 3 cells towers this company supposedly uses and still nothing. Want so send a quick message? Just mail a letter, it will arrive faster.

The sapphire device advertises: "No Contracts, No Roaming Fees", giving the impression you'll get free Wi-Fi. That’s a lie. You have sign up, through the app, ironically, for a very expensive limited time contract to access the Internet with the device. Don't bother. Use your phone hotspot, or buy a coffee in a bar.

This is a necessary evil for everyone who is deployed. They gouge you on data plans that don't roll over into the next month, the signal cuts out for no explainable reason, and they charge you hundreds for the device itself. If you have an international plan with your phone company, dint bother using this device.
