A solid and reliable service; I have been using Train line for the last year and I have never had a problem with the app service. Clear and concise instructions; it's a simple app to use and with most British train companies are partnered with the service, I don't see a reason to use their company apps or worry too much about prices.

Great app, I have a suggestion for group/couple tickets: allow the purchaser to send the tickets to the others in the group so that we don't have to wait for purchaser to go through the barrier and hand their phone back to the next person one by one.

I am not sure what they have done recently, but all of a sudden you can't take a direct train anymore, it's always adding changes, going through extra routes, and there's no option to pick direct trains. London to Birmingham new street usually has direct trains, but now its always including changes and making use of unnecessary trains and platforms with unnecessary route. My friend with the older version could still see direct changes. Please fix this, it is annoying

Once you have booked trains, key details of the parts of a journey (stations, times) are completely missing from the app. When I contacted customer support, I was informed that this is as intended. Given Train line charge commission on sales, this app is pretty useless - your tickets cost more, and the experience using the app is worse than using a train operating company's app directly (in that you can't check the journey you have booked on).

Overall a good app for checking train times and buying tickets. I have just bought a train ticket through the train line app which they claimed to be on time, however I got to the station to find it had been cancelled. I am not very impressed by this given I had to pay a 49p split ticket fee on top of my ticket price. I therefore consider buying directly through the company as I might not be able to claim delay repay now. I am not very happy about this.
