Pretty stupid app unless you know where to find a validation code

Basically no information available anywhere. there's a step to use an activation code before you can do anything, and I have no idea what that code is or how to get it. Perhaps this is a purchase requirement? Anyway, cant do anything with the app as is and can't find any information at all. 👎🏻
