This app is the control interface for the Hozelock Cloud Controller.
The Hozelock Cloud Controller provides the easy way to control your garden watering from your mobile. It doesn’t matter if you are on holiday or at work, you can control the system from anywhere in the world and your plants will no longer need to suffer if weather conditions change.
The mobile App is easy to use and allows you to remotely set, pause and adjust watering schedules and keeps you informed about local weather conditions. And sends alerts on your phone to keep you informed about your system.
Cloud Controller App Key Functions:
• Control from anywhere in the world • Displays local weather summary and controller status • Create your own schedules with up to 10 watering times per day • Quick access menu to activate water now, Pause or temporary watering schedule adjustments • Live weather notifications to inform you about changing temperatures or rainfall • Personalise the system by adding your own pictures and descriptions
Cloud Controller Kit
The Hozelock Cloud Controller is linked via a Hub which is connected directly to an internet router with an Ethernet cable and provides a secure system that is easy to set up, without any complex pairing process.
The hub links wirelessly with a remote tap unit in your garden that can be positioned up to 50 metres away, for convenient positioning around the garden. Each hub is capable of supporting up to 4 remote taps that might be installed to control different areas of your garden.
If for any reason your internet connection fails the garden will still get watered, as the schedules are stored locally on the Cloud Controller remote tap unit System requires a working Internet connection and Ethernet port. To learn more about the system, go to hozelock.com/cloud

Bought in May 2019. I've run this setup for a couple of weeks. It works. Cons: The automatic location feature freezes in app setup, I have to choose location manually, retro app design. Pros: Easy, it works. Watering on demand. 20 min sync to save battery life.

Nice product, nice App This was very easy to install and set up. The App takes you through the setup using clear step-by-step instructions, after which everything seems to be working exactly as it should. Haven't used it in anger yet, but very impressed so far.

Reasonable app - however it has a tendency to lock up on a Nexus 5 device making it almost inoperable. If Forelock could fix the issues with performance then it would be great. (I have been waiting nearly 5 minutes for it to load up now (after already rebooting phone) and have the screen but cannot adjust the schedule or set to water now!)

The app and the instructions contained within the product packaging AND the Forelock website live in the 'totally shocking' category and lead you round in endless circles of frustration. I keep inching closer to the rubbish bin with this Forelock experience, and ive already started looking at more mature products. If I had had the opportunity to try-before-you-buy, I'd have picked a more mature product by a company that had invested some real effort in the cloud-based systems. I can not stress how BAD the instructions are, they are only just a little above those Chinese -translation-ones. If all goes well during your install, no slip ups, no mistakes, everything happening just right, the instructions work. If you have any messups along the way, you will find yourself in Hozelock-frustration for hours, before regretting the purchase. The entire App is of low quality, it has no-back-buttons or cancel buttons during setup, and the 'factory-reset' option is impossible to get access too in the App (seriously half of the instructions are not tested well). And in today's world, what App won't close when you press Exit/Back? Hard-kill is the ONLY way (apart from a well-timed App-crash).

One of the worst products I have ever bought. The app contains a few glaring bugs, and the user interface appears never to have been assessed by a real user before going to market. Don't buy the device - it is poorly designed, INSECURE, chomps batteries and is very flakey.

This App doesn't function!! This needs addressing and updating, the controllers are being sold in 2021 and the app hasn't been updated since 2019!! No response from Forelock, no reply on helpline, no answer via Facebook nor Instagram! I have 7 controllers and 2 hubs, and they are nothing but paperweights, this needs putting right immediately. The app locks up, you cannot back out of it and clearing cache does nothing! Shocked and letdown is an understatement.
