App pairing is trash and instructions are confusing. Lights connect to remote control no problem. You get 3-5 seconds from power on to try to get into pairing mode, per instructions. Tried this with SEVEN Haylen "smart" lights and none of them will go into app pairing mode. Remote should have dedicated pairing button instead of using the on button w/long press. They gave us 14 button options why not add a 15th to simplify or add a pairing button on the light itself?

Their app leaves much to be desired. We got 5 of the Mod 59" Hayley Smart RGB lights, so we could program the lights with the ease of the phone. The app does not include all the options the remote does and it's limited in what it can do. They definitely need to invest in better technology for the app use for these lights. The app needs to improve their "scenes" available as well as add the function for chasing, blinking, etc. Govee does much better in their app and functions. Just a thought.
