Not Today is a private, offline-first app to help you quit smoking. It is a calm quit smoking companion for adults who want to stop smoking and stay smoke-free—without accounts, social feeds, streak shaming, or pressure. Everything works offline, and your journey stays on your phone.

Cravings are the hardest part of quitting smoking, so the app opens straight onto help. Start Craving Rescue from anywhere: name the trigger and intensity, pause with a three-minute delay, follow a gentle 4-2-6 paced breathing rhythm, drink water, and choose a practical distraction. Record what helped, so your private insights grow more useful each time.

Stopping smoking is easier with a plan. Work through one short task, lesson, and optional journal prompt each day:

Track cravings handled, journey progress, and lifetime achievements. After Day 20 the app moves into permanent Smoke-Free Mode, keeping every support tool available.

RESPOND TO SLIPS WITH COMPASSION
Most quit smoking trackers reset you to zero. This one does not. Smoking is recorded as a slip, not a failure. Your history and lifetime achievements remain. Choose to continue the current journey or begin a new quit attempt—nothing is destructively reset without your choice.

LEARN WHAT TO EXPECT
The Toolkit collects plain-language education on nicotine withdrawal, common tobacco cravings, and the general health milestones many people pass after their last cigarette, with links to trusted public health sources including WHO, the National Cancer Institute, and the CDC.

Your quit history, journals, craving details, reasons, savings information, and optional future-self audio stay in app-private storage on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. Erase your data at any time, or create a privacy-safe progress PDF that excludes journals, trigger details, slip notes, and audio.

OPTIONAL SUPPORT
Set a daily reminder, create a savings goal, record a private text or audio message to your future self, and review general educational milestones and trusted cessation sources.

WHO IT IS FOR
Not Today is for adults aged 18 and over who are ready to quit smoking cigarettes, whether this is a first attempt or a tenth. It suits you if you want a quit smoking tracker that works offline, respects your privacy, and treats a bad day as information rather than failure. It is not designed for children, and it is not a nicotine replacement or medication programme.

THE FREE VERSION
Not Today is free. The free version contains carefully placed ads on Progress and in the Toolkit article list. Ads never appear in craving rescue, breathing, slip recovery, PDF export, or professional-support content. A one-time Google Play purchase can remove ads forever.
