ELECTRONIC VISIT VERIFICATION
Checking in and out records the time and your device's GPS position, which is what electronic visit verification (EVV) requires and what state Medicaid programs increasingly mandate. Location is recorded at the moment you check in and the moment you check out.

CARE PLANS
Read the client's plan of care on your phone: contacts, physician, schedule, goals, the tasks you are responsible for, and the conditions to report. Nurses can sign and activate a plan, and capture the client's own signature on the device.

ASSESSMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION
Nurses complete initial assessments and reassessments in a guided, section-by-section form that saves as you go. Complete visit tasks, note anything skipped and why, attach photos and documents to the visit record, and file a discharge summary.

WORKS WHERE THE SIGNAL DOES NOT
Homes have bad reception. Check-ins, check-outs, and visit updates are captured on the device and sent when the connection returns.

BUILT FOR HEALTHCARE PRIVACY
Client information is protected behind your device's biometric lock. Data is encrypted, and CareOneX operates as a HIPAA business associate of the agencies it serves.

Recent changes:
Past visits now say what really happened: under Recent visits, a check and Done for a finished visit, a red mark and Missed for a missed one, a grey mark and Cancelled for a cancelled one. A cancelled visit now reads Cancelled on the visit screen, not Completed. After you check out with no signal, the visit screen no longer offers Check-out again while your phone reconnects. At larger text sizes, your email on Profile moves to the next line in one piece.
