When I first started using the HSBC Vietnam app, I encountered significant issues. Transfers, payments, and online shopping transactions took an excessive amount of time—often 15 to 20 minutes or more. Thankfully, after reaching out via email, the bank addressed the issues, though it took several days to weeks for a resolution. Even after major updates, the app still had problems with loading and functionality. However, with persistence, the bank eventually fixed my account.

Horrible banking app with only basic functionality, unlike HSBC apps in other countries such as Hong Kong or Singapore. You cannot even view your account or credit card statements from the app and have to use the online banking web version on a computer.

This app is trash, and now it's the only way to do int'l transfers, which doesn't work well at all, it says confirmed on the app then the bank system has nothing registered, the QR scanner is laggy and doesn't work with many QR I transfer money to my other banking app to make QR purchases, if the int'l transfer doesn't work (and it has been removed from the website) then what's the point of banking here?
