★★★★★ Very fast and intuitive with minor improvements needed but HSBc is not a start-up so will never do it

★★★★★ Finally, the long awaiting feature the biometric logon is introduced! That's working great. Moreover, the UI design aligns with the mobile banking apps in other countries (such as CI IOM, HK) which is simple and neat. I used to log on expat via desktop only as I don't like taking out the physical token, but this new change will make me use the app more often.

★★☆☆☆ Only good for checking balances, can't really do much on it, for example, when trying to transfer gbp between hsbc gbp accounts with gbp iban numbers it will only transfer dollars 😡

★★☆☆☆ As of today, I'm taking back one more star as both the mobile app and the online banking are full of bugs. The new mobile app remained the same useless app as the old one was with extremely limited functionality. The big thing is that one can log in with a newly generated PIN or with biometrics instead of the Stone Age Secure Key gadget. It says that loggin in to Internet banking is also possible now with the mobile app, hich I haven't tested yet. Mobile apps of other banks are light years ahead.
