Description

Lovesharing bikes is the self-service, electric bike-sharing scheme for short journeys in Canary Islands.
The official Lovesharing bikes app allows you to rent an electric bike straight from your smartphone, so you can skip past the docking station terminal and get on your bike quicker.
Simply register with your bank card, use the app to ‘Hire now’ from a nearby docking station and you’re good to go!
Please note the app doesn’t reserve bikes. If there are no bikes available at the docking station, don’t worry. Use the app to find a nearby docking station with bikes.
You must be 18 or over to hire a bike, and 14 or over to ride one.

Comments on Lovesharing bikes for Android

★★★★★ Easy to use, good quality bikes. Had a great time!

★★☆☆☆ BEWARE. IF THE BIKES DON'T WORK (like the 2 here), THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND Won't RETURN IT. There are numbers to call who keep you waiting for ages and then say they cannot help. More than one hour of calls with NO assistance at all, they simply gave me more numbers for the same helpless people. They said to try looking on the Internet for more numbers. AVOID.

★★☆☆☆ If possible, I would give the app/service no stars. While out on the ride, the back tire popped, I then had to drag the bike 1.5 km back to the docking station. I then tried to end the ride, but the app would not allow me to. Since the ride had not ended I am still being charged for one of the poorest services I've ever had to deal with. A refund would be the only acceptable outcome.

★★☆☆☆ Keep getting "error loading cities, please check Internet connection" on trying to register, when my internet is working fine. Tried, closing/restarting the app and installing on my partners phone who gets the same error. Can't rent the bikes near my hotel, what a waste!

★★☆☆☆ If I could give these 0 stars, I would. The bikes are death traps. My one started with a rattle and eventually turned into a dangerous rear wheel wobble. This ended up not mattering as the bike locked itself and would not unlock. The app was unresponsive, and I had to haul the bike a mile back to the rental stand, since the given customer support number is not active. Of course, I was being charged all the while for the privilege of this experience. Avoid at all costs!
