You can: • Set up fingerprint or face login • Check your savings account balances and available funds • See your recent transactions • View your account details, including interest frequency and method • Create future dated transactions; • View/Delete pending unprocessed transactions; • Withdraw funds from any account you hold with us if your account allows it; • Transfer funds from any account you hold with us to any other account you also hold with us, if your account allows it; • See information relating to paying money into accounts. • Check the personal details and contact info we hold for you. • Manage your maturity options.

Pretty basic at the moment but that's understandable as the app has only just launched. Currently, you can view your accounts and their latest transactions, but everything else in the app appears to be external browser links. However, for what it does, it does well. It's well-designed, speedy and has biometric login support. Very good start for an app launch and hopefully more features are in the works.

Was working fine now suddenly says my device is unsupported. Something to do with jailbreak, and I'll need to reset my phone to factory settings. No, thanks I'll close my account and move my money elsewhere thank you very much.

Cannot now get access to my savings. It says the app is not supported by my device. It's an own goal for Newcastle because as soon as I'm able I'll take all my savings out and put them in Chip whose app does work!!!

States my device is rooted or jailbroken. Neither of which is the case and all other bank apps work fine. I factory reset my phone as instructed, and it still says the same thing. Tried calling customer services who were no help at all. So now I have to use the website whenever I need to make a transaction. Sort it out NBS.
