The RYOBI GenControl App allows you to pair your phone with your Ryobi RYi2300BTA Inverter Generator using Bluetooth technology. The app will wirelessly show the real-time fuel level, load level, and remaining runtime of your portable generator. The app also enables remote overload reset, and remote shutdown from your phone. The information displayed in the App is identical to the information displayed on the LCD screen of your generator. parallel function is also supported by the GenControl App.

I have two electric start 2300 generators for a month now. I have seen read where engine will shut down after a couple mins. I had this happen to me on one of my generators. Either there is a low oil or high temp shutting it down. I changed (added) oil and all is good now. Second issue I have is with app. When in parallel mode at bottom shows and says total watts. This is not true. It is showing only one generator watts. Other than that everything is doing a great job ryobi

Do NOT update to the latest version 2.76, it broke my 2300BT no longer shut off by Bluetooth. This is your WARNING ⚠️. Vendor was of no hope to fix it after the update.

Not useful. Will not pair with Motorola Z3. Was looking forward to the "usefulness" of having my two generators pushing/sharing info with my phone. Won't pair, so useless. Also, why does app need location access?

IT REQUIRES YOUR LOCATION TO USE BLUETOOTH ON IT. I was out of cell range and could not use it because of this limitation! Why have a generator if you need to be near the grid? There's never been a generator that needed location to function. I'm so disappointed in ryobi, I'm going to return my generator. I already paid you ryobi, stop trying to steal more from me. I'll give Honda's Bluetooth a try, maybe they've still got a shred of pride.
