Description
SBI Secure OTP is an OTP generation App for verifying transactions done through SBI Internet Banking and Yono Lite App.
The application will replace the need for receiving the OTP for INB transactions via SMS. OTP can be generated using the application after completion of registration process. The application will generate Online OTP with Internet connectivity ON.
User can generate Online OTP after login to the application.
User can click on the de-register option provided in the "Settings" menu within the application. Alternatively visit Onlinesbi and go to "Profile>> High Security Option" and deregister the SBI Secure OTP App from there to complete the de-registration process.
Please note that after de-registration of the app, user will start receiving the OTP in registered mobile number with Internet Banking.
One time registration with your Internet Banking credentials is required for using the App. Service provider independent, hassle free OTP service is now available to customer.

I have to change my rating. SBI has changed the Net Banking portal to Yono. And now this app does not work for Fund Transfers in Yono. OTPs always come as SMS, so the purpose of this app is lost. It is now of no value, and it's a big problem for me My previous review: Quick and seamless delivery of the OTPs from the bank. SBI Internet Banking requires a lot of OTP input. This becomes difficult when phone coverage is minimal or when travelling. So I love this app. For me, it is working perfectly.

I was loyal customer of SBI for the last 18 yrs, yonolite and secure OTP app was using for the last 2 yrs. It's good only. SBI may need to evolve in offering user-friendly app activation without compromising user security. That's it otherwise, it's okay.

To those who see "try again later" error: Guys, the app first required to send an SMS. The first page as soon as you enter the username, it pops up to choose the sms app preference (sms or WhatsApp). Since I was in India, I chose Google Messages app. Once you choose the app, app send a gibberish secret key to SBI for your device registration. Once the sms is sent, you'll receive OTP and the next steps are smooth. I wish the process was transparent and explanatory. But the next steps easy

I have been using the SBI secure OTP app for 3 years, but I installed my old mobile. I see I can not upgrade the APP due to an MSG error like APP does not support your Mobile. I am using an ONEPLUS 6 Mobile device. Could you reset my profile ? And I will get again OTP on my registered mobile number. I have been sent email with all info.

Not able to log in after previous phone lost. Error message "unable to process your request". Cannot log in to internet banking as sms OTP option was disabled in my net banking. Very bad experience.

Idiots turned this on without my consent and not I can't log in after my password is expired. I couldn't disable this stupid app either.
